Original concepts of Space Engineers & Medieval Engineers

Look what I've found on my old hard-drive - original vintage designs and concepts for Space and Medieval Engineers!

We have added a whole bunch of them to the Space Engineers Deluxe Edition just now

To get a taste of what waits for you:

And you can expect similar treatment for Medieval Engineers soon. ;)

Also as a bonus we released internal test video from Space Engineers in 7/2013  - months before we showed the game to the public:

  1. Please take a look at the current shift towards negative reviews on Space Engineers. This should prove some points on what is going on within the community.

This used to be a fun game brimming with potential (it still is). but the approach that is being taken is wrong. Please consider reshaping the development in a way which will produce results starting from fixing the oldest bugs.

Else the community will die and will shift towards to games which are giving similar play style. I'd hate to see this game die...

    1. Hi Egemen,

Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it.

Space Engineers is a game which is still in development, so we are balancing between polishing the game (finishing, optimizing) and bug-fixing.

Nevertheless, it troubles me when I see players unhappy with something in our game.

Can you please tell me more about specific issues you are experiencing?

      Thanks

      Best,
      Marek

    2. Hello again;

Thank you for taking this seriously. As for the issues, if I need to generalize it, it involves the microupdates that we all are having each day which are affecting our daily gameplay since we never know what it is that are waiting for us the next day with the new update.

If I remember correctly, there was a mention of renting dedicated servers for extensive and detailed testing before each update in the roadmap of either 2015 or 2016. I'd really like to see that put into motion where devs pick certain players which has knowledge about programming and give them the title "testers" so they can exclusively test the updates which will get released to give more productive feedbacks.

As for my problem, it involves the constant change on sim speed and FPS which comes with each new daily update. Thanks to these micro updates, I've been forced to cancel 15 projects that I was working on and a stream show which I was part of due to unstable sim speed.

Like others in the community, I've also put my own commitment to advertise this game and increase the player foundation as much as I can since like everyone else, I can see the big potential and the future of KSH. But this requires a stable development where KSH shows and proves their ability to overcome minor and major problems. In SE case, it's the bugs that game currently has.

Each of these updates, as it is, are affecting KSH regarding the public view and it is not a positive one.

As a company, KSH should try to minimize the negative impact by rearranging their development stage to a point that the impact on players should get minimized so a stable gameplay even within the development stage can be actualized.

Else this will become one of the unsuccessful early access games on steam and will be forgotten like any other early access games.

      Thank you for reading this.

We are working on getting Space Engineers in the best shape possible. Please bear with us, it will take some time.

I can assure you that everyone in our team is working on this and it's their top priority to make you guys happy (again)!

      Best,
      Marek
